Destiny Decor makes textile decoration for the home and has more than 50 years in the sector. It sells to clients across Central and South America, the United States, most of Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Japan.
“You think you know all the importers in a market, and when you start using xNova, you realize that it’s not the case,” says Miguel Abad, Export Manager at Destiny Decor.
The right customers, without wasted time
Miguel’s main difficulty is finding the right customer, one that will not waste his time. In xNova he searches for companies that buy his product in his target markets, then checks which suppliers they use and how often they import.
He can also check whether what a competitor claims is true. “Information is power, and with xNova, we have all the information we need.”
Business trips prepared in less time
Textiles have to be seen in person, so Miguel travels constantly. He prepares each trip by finding who buys from his competitors and following the thread. With a portfolio of prospects, he contacts their purchasing managers directly to set up meetings, instead of writing to an info@ address that never replies.
“I have used similar tools on other occasions, but xNova has been the best due to its platform, data visualizations, and loading speed, as well as the comprehensive and detailed information it provides.”
